The Swing Headshell keeps equal pressure on both groove walls so sound reproduction is balanced between the two channels.   This provides more detail, more natural, more balanced sound and improved tracking ability.  
 
Trackability:  It swings by two springs, basically making it another short arm. Due to having a soft joint, short and light arm with the 'Swing Headshell', the stylus can track the groove more delicately with well-balanced forces.   This can easily be measured using an LP test record for trackability.
 
Minimizes tonearm resonance.   Most vibration occurring in a cartridge is cleared away through the swing joint and only an extremely small amount of  vibration is transferred to the arm.   Nasotec used a comparison test of tonearm resonances and found that the arm equipped with 'Swing Headshell' exhibits lower resonance than the same arm with a normal headshell.
 
Extends lifespan of the stylus. -  Although there is no data to support this, we expect a longer life span of the stylus since the soft and flexible swing reduce the pressure of stylus and doesn't bend the stylus cantilevers as it always keep same pressure on both groove walls.
